Terminology
Throughout these terms, individuals providing products or services through Artifex may be referred to as "Creator," "Freelancer," "Seller," or "Service Provider." These terms are interchangeable and apply to anyone listing, selling, or providing content or services on the Artifex platform. For the purposes of this agreement, "we," "us," and "our" refer to "Artifex," "Artifex.gg," or "Artifex, LLC." These terms represent the company and platform in its entirety.
Acceptance of Terms
By signing up as a creator on Artifex, you agree to abide by these terms in their entirety. Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination.
Modification of Terms
Artifex reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms automatically.
Creator Profile Requirements
Creators on Artifex must complete all profile information accurately and thoroughly to maintain professionalism and ensure transparency for customers.
- Complete Profile Information: Creators are required to fill out all sections of their profile, including a detailed description, location, and profile picture. Incomplete profiles may lead to reduced visibility on the platform, limiting the potential for sales and engagement.
- Profile Description: The profile description should accurately reflect the creator's skills, services, and offerings. Clear and concise descriptions help customers understand what to expect and improve the likelihood of successful transactions.
- Profile Picture: A professional or relevant profile picture must be uploaded. This enhances credibility and makes it easier for customers to recognize and engage with freelancers. Profiles without images may appear incomplete or less trustworthy.
- Location Information: Including location details helps build trust and can assist customers in identifying region-specific services or products. This is especially useful for time zone considerations and local projects.
- Consistency and Accuracy: All information provided must be accurate and reflect the creator’s current offerings and experience. Misleading or false information may result in account suspension or termination.
- Regular Updates: Creators should regularly update their profiles to ensure all information is current and relevant. This includes refreshing descriptions, updating portfolios, and ensuring all products or services listed remain accurate.
Failure to maintain a complete and accurate profile may result in restricted account functionality including account termination or reduced visibility within the Artifex marketplace.
Marketplace Terms:
Product Listings
Quality and Standard: Creators are responsible for ensuring that their products meet Artifex's quality standards. Listings must include detailed descriptions, accurate tags, and high-quality previews to maintain marketplace integrity. If a product does not meet the required quality, Artifex reserves the right to remove it from the platform.
Repeated listings of substandard products may result in account suspension or termination. Additionally, if products consistently receive complaints from customers or are not as described, the creator’s account may face further review and potential termination.
AI Content Ban: AI-generated assets like pictures or videos to showcase your products are prohibited in all marketplace listings to ensure originality and quality control. If AI-generated content is detected, Artifex reserves the right to remove the product immediately and issue a warning.
Copyright Compliance: All products must respect third-party copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights. Creators are responsible for securing the appropriate licenses for any external content used in their listings. Infringing content will be removed, and creators may face account suspension.
Product Retention: When Creators remove their products voluntarily, Artifex may retain files for up to 180 days to ensure customers who previously purchased the product continue to have access.
Probihited Content: Products containing malware, viruses, illegal content, or materials that promote hate speech, violence, or discriminatory practices are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate removal and account review.
Refund Policy: Artifex retains the right to issue refunds to customers when necessary. Refunds may be processed in cases where the product is not as described, is defective, or fails to meet the quality standards outlined by the platform. Artifex will review all refund requests carefully to ensure fairness to both the customer and the creator.
Creator Responsibility: Creators agree that in the event of a refund, the amount will be deducted from their account balance. If insufficient funds are available, the creator must reimburse Artifex directly.
Dispute Investigation: Artifex will contact the creator to resolve the issue before proceeding with a refund. Failure to respond or cooperate during the investigation may lead to account suspension or termination.
This policy ensures that customers can shop with confidence, knowing that Artifex prioritizes product quality and customer satisfaction.
Payment and Commission
Artifex charges a 9.99% commission on products sold through the marketplace. There are no fees to list products on the platform - creators are only charged when a sale is made.
Artifex Memberships
Membership Tiers
Creators can create custom membership tiers offering exclusive content, early product access, discounts, or behind-the-scenes insights. Tier descriptions must clearly outline the benefits to avoid misunderstandings.
Exclusive Content
Content provided to subscribers must adhere to Artifex's quality guidelines. AI-generated assets are not allowed in membership-exclusive resources to ensure authenticity.
Refunds
Membership fees are generally non-refundable. However, if Artifex determines that a creator has violated membership policies or failed to provide promised benefits, partial or full refunds may be issued at our discretion.

Payment and Commission
A 4.99% commission applies to all membership subscriptions processed through Artifex.
Withdrawal Policy
- Payout Schedule: Artifex processes withdrawals twice a month, on the 15th and 30th. Creators can request withdrawals at any time, and payouts will be sent on the closest upcoming payout date. Payments are transferred directly to the creator's preferred withdrawal method.
- Dispute and Hold Rights: Artifex reserves the right to place a hold on withdrawals in the event of an ongoing dispute, suspected fraudulent activity, or any other issues Artifex deems necessary to investigate. This measure ensures the protection of both creators and customers, and payouts will resume once the matter is resolved.
Account termination
Artifex reserves the right to terminate or suspend creator's accounts at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Violation of Artifex's community guidelines
- Repeated copyright infringement
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Consistent failure to meet platform quality standards
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a creator and a customer, Artifex will act as an intermediary to facilitate resolution. Creators are required to cooperate fully during the investigation process. Artifex’s decision in dispute matters is final and binding.
