Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a freelancer on Artifex, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.

Commission

Artifex charges a commission fee of 10% on the total transaction amount for services rendered through our platform. This fee covers the cost of providing and maintaining our platform.

Account Termination

Artifex reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. This includes but is not limited to violations of our community guidelines, fraudulent activity, or failure to comply with our terms and conditions.

Product Quality

As a freelancer on Artifex, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the products and services you provide. If a client reports that a product is not as described or fails to meet their expectations, Artifex reserves the right to refund the client and deduct the amount from your earnings.

Payment

Freelancers will receive payment for completed projects or orders via their preferred payment method, subject to Artifex's payment processing schedule and any other applicable fees.

Communication

Any transactions, communications, or engagements conducted outside of the Artifex platform are solely at the discretion and responsibility of the parties involved. Artifex shall not be held liable or responsible for any outcomes, disputes, or issues arising from such interactions. It is strongly advised that all freelancers and clients conduct their business exclusively through the Artifex platform to ensure transparency & security.

Intellectual Property

By uploading or submitting content to Artifex, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content worldwide in any form, media, or technology.

Confidentiality

Freelancers may have access to confidential information about Artifex and our clients. You agree to keep such information confidential and not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Artifex harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of our platform or any breach of these terms and conditions.

Product Maintenance

If a product has been uploaded to our server and the freelancer requests to delete it, Artifex holds the right to sustain the files on our server for a certain period of time to provide them to existing customers of the product.

Prohibited Content

Freelancers are prohibited from uploading or providing any content that violates copyright laws, contains viruses or malware, or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.

Changes to Terms

Artifex reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.
